A tree stands tall with blossoms new.

Pink and gold in sunlight gleam,

A painter’s touch, a fleeting dream.

Tulips dance in hues so bright,

A field alive in morning light.

Soft winds whisper, calling high,

As bluebirds soar into the sky.

A world of wonder, pure and free,

Where colours bloom in harmony.

A fleeting moment, bright yet true,

Captured here just me and you.

This is one of Shona Lenaghan’s original paintings of her native Scottish countryside created in her own unique style. This is an en plein air painting started on the spot and then finished in her studio.
