A lone stone stands, weathered and true,

Bathed in the sun’s soft golden hue.

The Eildons rise in distant embrace,

Watching over this sacred place.

Ashes rest where he once roamed,

Now part of the land, forever home.

And high above, a bird takes flight,

A spirit soaring into light.
