Commission: Edinburgh’s Victoria Street

‘Maison Bleue’ Victoria Street, Edinburgh.

This is a very special commission that I completed for Ross McLaren to give to his lovely wife Jo on their wedding anniversary.

I was honoured when Ross asked me to create this piece for him mainly because I loved the reason behind it.

Ross explained that the Maison Bleue Restaurant on Victoria Street in Edinburgh is actually where they had their first date in October 2007. So to paint anyone’s ‘Special Place’ touched my heart.
