A commission for one of our very own LOCAL HEROS.

Gala’s Donald MacNeil deserves a HUGE SHOUT OUT for his long service in the Scottish Fire Service. He has recently retired as station commander at Scottish Borders East. He has worked at Hawick, Liberton, Gala, Tollcross & has been an instructor at Gullane, Crewetoll and Dalkieth. He completed 26 years and 5 months service and now deserves a long and happy retirement.
